Building Healthier Communities Through WASH and Nature Restoration

In Kwale County, Restoration of Planet Earth brings together community health, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and environmental restoration to address challenges affecting vulnerable rural households.

  • WASH awareness and household sanitation promotion
  • Training and empowerment of local health ambassadors
  • Safe water handling and storage awareness
  • Community tree planting
  • Native vegetation restoration
  • Climate and environmental awareness

Impact:
The project is helping communities develop locally managed solutions that improve water security while strengthening their capacity to cope with drought and environmental degradation.
