Restore Planet Earth World (Kenya) engages local communities to solve problems in a way that is pragmatic and community-based. We do this with regard to issues such water, community health, climate resilient, and ECDE development, capacity building. Through this initiative, we can help to improve the environment and the well-being of communities.
Restore Planet Earth World (Kenya) is a national organization registered in Kenya under the NGO Coordination ACT Number: NGO-MDU-45G4 working towards the creation of healthy and green communities. Our mission is to collaborate with local communities to achieve better water security and promote community health and hygiene, restoration of ecosystems, climate mitigation and resilient, hygiene promotion, and development of early childhood development centers. With our practical and locally driven solutions, we help local communities protect their environment and ensure sustainable living.

Access to water in communities is achieved through the use of affordable technology like sand dams, rainwater harvesting and underground water exploration.

Our strategy for achieving is to create WASH programs whereby community health ambassadors will be empowered with the right information and skills to pass the information to the communities. This will lead to healthy communities and reduction of water borne diseases.

Our community-level activities include tree planting, afforestation through native species and Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR), for landscape rehabilitation, biodiversity conservation, soil and water security and increasing resilience to climate change.

This is achieved through the construction of ECDE classrooms to easy congestion for the centers, provision of solar lights which provide security for the young people while enabling environmental education programs for tender children, hence fostering their relationship with the environment.
We collaborate with communities in Kenya to solve their problems and develop resilience in the long term. Our projects concentrate on arid and semi-arid regions of Kenya that have urgent needs for water security, community health, climate change, environmental conservation, and resilient early childhood development.
Through collaboration with communities, county governments, national government departments, water authorities, and other local stakeholders, we make sure that our interventions meet local needs and contribute to sustainable solutions.
Through working together with the government and the community-based partners, private partnerships, individuals, regilious based organizations, our interventions address local priorities and result in long-term impact for vulnerable communities in Kenya.

Children form the basis of resilient communities. This is why we work with ECDE centers in offering environmental lessons and eco-solutions like solar lighting. By ensuring that there is a safer and greener environment for learning, we are instilling in our children the value of nature and the need for taking care of it.
